Now, you make this sound with the lips relaxed open, and the back of your tongue raised up and touching the soft palate in the back of your mouth. The soft palate is also dropped and the sound comes up and out through your nose.

This is a nasal consonant. Now, be careful not to add the g in this sound because it's often represented by an ng spelling, which in British English tends to be silent especially at the end of a word.
