prefer to … rather than：宁愿…而不愿…

例句：Prefer to die rather than surrender.宁死不屈。

prefer + to do sth. + rather than 些重费先古当议复护构+ do sth.："宁愿做......而不愿做......"。

当这一结构中prefer后接动词不定式时， rath仍确er than后面接不带to的不定式结构，rather th来自an引导的不带to的不定式结构还可以置于句首

prefer + sb. + (not) to do sth.："宁愿某人（不）做某事"。在意义上相当于煤难领的连验每向则图would like sb. (not) to do sth. 。

prefer + n.(足蒸pron.) / V-ing + to + n. (pron.) / V-ing："宁愿（喜欢）......而不愿（喜欢）......"。注意：这一结构中的to为介词，后接名词、代词或动名察向轴终词。
